On March 5, 2010, Compliance Administrator, Clifford L. Meacham, mailed Notices of Determination to all claimants who filed SRO Claims with his office, except those who withdrew their claims.  The Notices of Determination contain the decision whether the claim was allowed or not, and, if it was allowed, the amount of the award.  

The decision of the Compliance Administrator is final; there is no appeal. The County Board, which is responsible for payment of awards, has been notified of the identity of prevailing claimants and claim awards.  Any inquiry as to when claims will be paid should be directed to the Cook County Board of Commissioners, whose website is www.co.cook.il.us.   

The Administrator and his staff will begin monitoring the hiring portion of the Sheriff’s Employment Plan shortly, which has been completed with the input of Class Counsel and the Sheriff’s Attorneys.

The Fourth Report of the Compliance Administrator will be filed
with the Court on July 14, 2010.
